With these three superfoods: honey, cinnamon and lemon, you can easily make effective natural cosmetic recipes yourself. How honey, cinnamon and lemon clean our skin and make it glow: With these long-forgotten beauty elixirs, SOS products for sensitive skin can be easily made by yourself.
Honey – beauty elixir from nature
Honey is one of the most valuable and effective natural products that we have at home. Honey makes them soft and smooth, provides them with moisture, smoothes out bumps and reduces the size of the pores. But honey can do even more: especially sensitive and allergic skin is balanced again with honey. Despite its antibacterial and deep cleansing effect, honey is extremely mild and therefore also suitable for very sensitive skin. So those who are prone to allergies can soothe and stabilize the skin with a daily honey cleansing. In addition, the skin cells should even be densified with regular applications with honey.
Cinnamon – deep cleansing and neutralizing
Cinnamon is a pure antioxidant, which means that it removes harmful toxins from the skin, which are responsible for fine lines and cracks and thus for the visible signs of aging. Impurities also disappear and the pores are reduced.
Lemon – brightening and disinfecting
Lemon juice disinfects our skin, brightens discoloration and stains. The fruit acid frees the top epidermis layer of cornification, which has formed as a defense reaction against chemical ingredients. The dermatin in the lemon (also called skin sulfur) forms enzymes that, together with iron, zinc and oxygen, build up amino acids that are responsible for the elasticity of the skin. Simply put, lemon juice plumps up the skin and makes it look fresh and clean again.
If you want to do beauty care from the inside in the morning, just drink a glass of warm honey-cinnamon water with lemon. Because when used internally, the mixture of honey, cinnamon and lemon juice accomplishes a true masterpiece for our body: the vitamin complex contained in vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6 strengthens our immune system and the resistance of the skin, supports cell formation, has an anti-inflammatory effect and gives moisture and elasticity.
Zinc and vitamin C slow down the internal and external aging process and have an astringent effect, that is, they reduce pore size. These so-called antioxidants effectively prevent the aging process by free radicals and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
